my grandad was known as the man with deep pockets and short arms he was a 5ft nothing man with the cheekyest smile. The way he complimented you was to make fun of you but if he did that you knew he loved you. He never let any of his grandchildren call him grandad because he said he was far too young to be a grandad. He has a lovaly wife carole two sons darren and mark, and 6 grand children with great grand children and more on the way. He was a loved man and still is and we all miss him he was taken away from us far to quick, but we did have his best years which will never be erased.
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you,
and whispered "Come to Me".
With tearful eyes we watched you,
we watched you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands now rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again
If we could visit heaven,ღ♥ღ
Even for a day,ღ♥ღ
Maybe for a moment,ღ♥ღ
The pain would go away,ღ♥ღ
